We get rave reviews on our smoked whole chickens, and honestly, as a person who eats food, too, I agree that this is one of our very best products. We process chickens every week, so if we're getting you a chicken in person on a Saturday, we process fresh chickens on Thursday, generally brine it til Friday, season the bird & tie the legs with butcher’s twine, and set it in our rotisserie smoker where it comes out just about perfect.

This will be about a 4-pound bird. This comes in a clear plastic bag tied with twine. If you're meeting us in person (farm store, farmer's market, on-farm pickup), please be in touch so we can have it hot for you, and be aware that it may release some moisture into the bag as it cools. If you're having this shipped, we can vacuum-seal and freeze it for you to make the trip safely. I don't know about home delivery yet! I don't want to leave something hot at your house when you're not home, so probably it will be cooled and packed with the frozen items in your order. Probably the best option before serving will be popping the chicken in the oven for a little while to get it hot again.
